District Election office, Thoubal District is located at the Thoubal DC Office Complex, Thoubal. District Election Officer is the Deputy Commissioner who is the head of this Office and there is an Election Officer and other subordinate staffs to assist and co-ordinate in its functioning.

This office is playing a very crucial role in conducting election, especially General and state legislative assembly Election within the district.

In addition to these, this office deals with the following works:-

• Maintenance of the record regarding election
• Responsible for the up- keep and maintenance of Ballot Boxes, EVMs, VVPATs etc.
• Take up and execute any other election related task in co-ordination with the office of Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur from time to time.
